Default '99 Blazer throttle issue

Hi all, I'm hoping you could help me out with a problem. Last week I did the "throttle plate mod" (cut off the restrictor) and now I'm idling *higher* than normal and throwing a CEL for high idle. The plate was cleaned thoroughly, there are no burs or rough edges and the throttle opens and closes normally. Both rivets are firmly in place as well. Stock intake as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd also like to know where to buy an OEM throttle plate. My local Advance Auto couldn't help.

Thanks in advance.

ensure the rivits are secure and not letting air escape by them. Make sure the IAC is functioning. Make sure there are no vacuum leaks. There should only be 1 hole in the throttle blade.

rivets are secure. What's the IAC? How can I check for vacuum leaks?
