Hey Guys and Gals,
I just recently replaced my upper and lower ball joints on both sides, which means I had to take all of brakes, abs sensor, hub, etc. off. Now when I put everything back together my ABS functions (is applied) when ever I stop. I am trying to figure out what I did wrong or why it is doing this. I installed the ABS sensor back normally and the ABS light is not on. When I was putting the brakes back on I compressed the calipers with a C-clamp and the brake pads with the brake cyinder fill point lid off like you are supposed to. I just don't know what could be wrong, it does it all the time and I am tired of it and its probably not great for the truck either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
The truck is a 1998 Chevy Blazer LS 4dr 4x4 with the 4.3L engine and automatic transmission.

Nope everything is installed and looks like it should be able to function properly. I had no problems with it before and now once it is all reinstalled it doesnt work the greatest. Its more of an annoyance and the thought that it might not perform properly when I really need it.

If it's not a poor electrical connection, then it's probably a little bit of dirt between the sensor and the reluctor wheel in the hub.
Sometimes you can just pull the senor out, spray the sensor and the reluctor with brake & parts cleaner and reassemble. Be sure to put a little silicone dielectric grease on the rubber "O" ring before reinstalling the sensor.
