Default ac compressor

just bought new compressor for 98 blazer it is a uac model 7h15 well it did not come with any instructions and i am wondering if anybody has used one of these.my first question is on the compressor it says it contains 6 oz of pag46 need to add more pag46 if vehicle equipped with rear air well mine doesnt. But here is the thing they also sent me a bottle of 8 oz pag 100.so i am not sure what to do .i believe i read on there website it said to drain the oil that it was transported with and add the right amount needed to operate it and evacuate system i also read where condensers can not be blowed out not sure exactly what that means because i have taken my air compressor and blew through one end and out the other and stuff came out of it and seems to be clear so if anyone can give me any help or information i would really appreciate it

We're lucky to have a Christine who worked very hard installing a sanden compressor.

Go with the oil weight that belongs in the new compressor because that changes with bearing clearances, etc. The amount that stays in the new compressor is the amount that leaves all removed components. This is complicated somewhat by blowing some of the oil out of the condensor. A little too much oil is better than too little oil, up to a point.

Well, could always go for an Autozone unit since those should carry a lifetime warranty for new air compressor . You might also see what Carquest has to offer. They seem to be better quality wise than the other chains IMHO.
