AEM Brute Force air intake
#1
I installed it a while ago, but I think there might be a leak over the throttle body because it seems to not seat right, and the intake sounds like it's lacking suction. It doesn't really sound like it's sucking all that much and doesn't really make that deep tone.
Would a throttle body spacer fix this? I saw one in autozone but it was for a different brand. I want one by AEM but they're pretty expensive.
It should add some height though and put my intake temp sensor above the master cylinder.
Especially because one of the codes my mechanic brought up on my SES light was high intake. Maybe the throttle's sucking in too much air beyond the intake itself.

If your intake was suckin in air behind the mass air flow sensor it would have a vaccum leak thus creating a rough idle. Is your truck running like it has a rough idle???

Well, kinda. I'm not sure if it always did, but the truck does vibrate a bit when idling. Like it has a noticeable idle, you can feel it.
