Default AEM Brute Force

ive been thinking about getting a CAI and i plan on going with the AEM but for some reason, the "box" in this picture looks a little small... it doesnt really look like it will seal the filter off from the engine compartment.but i could be wrong. if anybody has this kit and can take some pics of it installed that would be great.

also if anyone has any input on a different brand of CAI that wouldbe appreciated.

All that kit has is a heat shield (the metal peice on the top right of the pic next to the bottles. It doesn't completely seal it of, but it does from the side the engine is on, and then the washerfluid resivor and fuse block, blocks off the rest. Here is a link to FatRyans pic of his AEM CAI installed on his Blazer.

I have the Fram Boost Instake System in my truck and it's made by AEM and cost cheaper. The instructions even says the pipe is made by AEM. And the Fram Kit include Cleaning Kit and tools to install the kit. Can't beat that. I have a old thread on here when I installed mine.
