I forgot to mention that I do have a remote starter. Would hooking up a ground to the alternator blow a fuse? Is there a fuse that I could be missing? Thanks.

When a RS is involved, sure there is a fuse (or maybe two) that could cause a no start. It depends on how the RS is wired in.

Well I checked out all the fuses, I found 3 for the remote starter, all were fine. I tested all the wires with a test light and everything is getting power but still nothing when I turn the key. Is there something I'm missing here? Any one have any ideas?

Alright, problem solved. Apparently the ground wire that I hooked up to the alt originally was a fuse-able link, so it has to be hooked up in conjunction with the positive cable. I looked at pictures and have never seen that before. I guess it helps to pay attention when your unhooking things.
