Another question about towing...
I have the autotrac system, I have 4 buttons.
While towing is it a good idea keeping it in AUTO?
If not, why not?
Thanks
Jim
As everyone can tell I'm a little nervous about towing (and moving to Fl) and I just want to make sure about certain things.

I would think it would not be a problem, if towing something I would think it would take all of the stress off the rear end and distribute between the front and rear.
If I'm wrong let me know.
Or if my logic is flawed.
Thanks
Jim

I was under the assumption that if the vehicle was placed in AUTO, then the drivetrain would only be in 2wd until it noticed rear end slippage, when it sees that, then it would automatically kick in 4wd.
I see no purpose using 4HI while towing on normal highways. Unless your driving through snow. Though I have used 4LO while putting/taking boats out.
