Default AWD hub questions

I have what I beleive to be a bad hub on the passenger side. It sounds kinda like a loud snow tire on one wheel only and get louder as the speed increases but not rpm dependent. It also gets louder when more weight is shifted to that wheel also. Is there any different steps or things to watch out for when doing it on a Bravada since its AWD vs the hubs on 4wd. Also I've seen on some sites that you should change the axle nut when you have to take it off, but the diy thread I saw on here doesnt mention replacing it any input on this?

The hub is the same 4wd to Awd. I have never replaced the nut. It should still work just as well.
