Default Bad starter probably - 2004 Blazer

Please help! 2004 Blazer 2wd 4 door V6. I turn the key, battery turns on, maybe an extra amount because for some reason it unlocked my back window, and it sputters a few times and will not crank up. The crank is a sputtering that makes all the dash lights blink while sputtering. It died a couple weeks ago in a parking lot, I watched a random youtube video and literally hit the top of the fuse box with my hand and it cranked up. Haven't had a problem again until tonight when it just will not turn over. I think trying so long may have run down battery because more I tried slower the car started and eventually stopped making the cranking sputtering. Do I need to replace the starter?

Do you have and do you know how to use a digital multimeter?

Do you have any codes?

The first thing you need to do is charge your battery up to a resting voltage of at least 12.6V. Do you have a battery charger?

We need to separate a cranking problem from a running problem. When you say sputtering do you mean that the starter cannot turn the motor over at a consistent, proper speed or do you mean that the starter is fine but the engine is trying to run but it only fires randomly?

I don't have codes unfortunately. I last ran codes a long time ago for ABS sensor at o reillys. The sound has changed since last night. Last night was an electrical cranking and sputtering. Now it is more sluggish. I will post a video I recorded of the sound. Thanks for your help

All I hear is the ignition key chime in your audio clip.

What is your resting battery voltage?

What is your battery voltage when you are trying to start the truck?

Is the starter turning at the proper speed without interruption when you try to start?
