Default blazer remote help

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if a 10443537 remote (2004 impala) would be programmable for a 99 blazer ls? I have an extra impala remote and none for my blazer although I know these blazers have factory alarms.

they did come with factory alarms, I only know this because I tried to open my door with the lock half engaged and the alarm went off. I can't remember off the top of my head what the factory fob brand is but I'm fairly certain that scosche is aftermarket.

Well I think I answered my own question, I tried programming the remote but when I was done the doors didn't lock/unlock. Darn.

Keylessentry.com that's where I found ones for mine. I believe AutoZone sales them now

4X4, are you talking about factory fobs or aftermarket? I would assume only gm and personal ad sites would have factory.. I installed an aftermarket alarm/remote start on my old buick and I had to bypass the factory anti-theft system. I'm just trying to program a remote I already have. If it won't work I'll try the site you posted.

Well as it turns out, I just obtained a 92 civic vx (47 mpg!!) and I don't know if I am going to be spending enough time in the blazer to desire the remote. It does still need work (the blazer) it sounds like every suspension bushing went bad at the same time.
