Default Blind spot detector

Anyone installed a blind spot detector? I thought I would get used to this Blazer but its been a year and I've had several near misses, mostly me changing lanes into a blind spot with a car in it. I see them for$300 or so, wondering if it is a challenge to run the wiring.

puttster,
you can spend the money if you want to that is up to you, but remember the basic teaching of lane changes, just turn your head
to see if the lane is clear to make your lane change. That goes for either making a left or right lane change. Don't just rely on your
mirrors.

It is the best thing to do.

I am mostly puzzled by how to run the wires.

There will be two sensors on the front bumper - how/where is a good place to get them through the firewall and into the cabin?
There will be sensors on the back bumper and connections to the turn signal indicators - what is a good route to get the cable through the cabin (under the molding?) to meet up with the wires from the front?
Under the dash, I will need a 12v key-on power and a route to attach two LED warning lights and an alarm.

It is going to be a challenge for me. When I was out there looking I realized I did not even know how to get inside the rear turn signals! So any help on how I can accomplish this task, or even just parts of it, will be greatly appreciated!

just get one of those circle mirrors that sticks on to your existing mirrors

ive been running them forever, even on my old 82 suburban with 38 inch tires you can see everyone. even people changing lanes from 2 lanes over on the highway you can see along with the yellow lines parking in a parking spots. all that technology for like $5
