when driving down the road my right blinker started turning on yet i hadn't turned it on..and i have to turn my right blinker on and off a couple times to get it off ..well it happend recently and my blinkers went completly out and will not work anymore ..i checked the fuse and it seems to be fine..it all started when i took out the factory radio and unplugged the 4x4 button controls so i could get it out(the radio)..i forgot to plug the 4x4 controls back in and drove and realized the blinker problem started ..i quickly pulled over put the control back in and made sure it was in 2wheel drive.. but ever since then the blinkers have been acting funny and went out...does anyone know what my blinker problem could be?

 

ok so i just found out and i think that its the hazard switch and i was pressing it up and down up and down and .....it broke...what do i do now the hazards wont stop flashing unlessi have it in ther right now i have it wedged in so they wont blink and if i apply the right amount of pressure my blinkers work...will i be able to get the broken piece out and a new piece in there? is there anyway to disable the hazards so i can use my blinkers?

 

there's a thread(i believe it's a "sticky") in the DIY Tech section that covers this. i'm not sure what it was under, but i just came across it last week by accident.

maybe it was because i knew you broke yours? don't know, but it seems kinda funny that i came across your question.
