Default Blinker Problem.

My blinkers will not work. All the bulbs are good. When i hit the blinker switch nothing happens, no noise or nothing. What could it be? Has anyone had to replace the switch for the blinkers? And i heard there is like a main blinker relay or something under the driver side dash? There is a plug down there that is not connected to anything. I have a 96 Blazer 4x4.

Check to see if your flasher is plugged in fully to begin with.

Open your glove box, there is a hook on the top left corner. Pull that back then drop the glovebox down. The flasher will be a little black box on the right hand side. It just plugs in and out. Try shoving it in and seeing if it was not fully plugged in.

The flasher could be fried, which is no very likely as they are pretty reliable. Check that all fuses are plugged in too.

I opened the glove box and there is a plastic piece that says relay access.
There is 3 square black relays I guess? and the one all the way on the right i took out and put it back in and still nothing. Can they go bad? and if so how can you tell?
