Brake pulsing/grinding at end of braking
#1
Hi guys,
Fairly new to my truck and the forum so could do with some help. I have a European Spec 2001 Blazer LT 4WD and being in the UK parts are neither cheap or easily avaliable.
Yesterday my truck started a breaking fault. Towards the end of all breaking light or heavy when the truck gets down below around 15mph the pedal starts to pulse and there is a grinding sound. It sounds and feels like when the ABS kicks in but the truck is doing it under all breaking situations even when the wheels are not losing traction.
The break fluid was changed at last service by US Autocare (our local North American specialists) less than 3000 ago and is still at the correct level in the resivoir.
Any ideas where to start looking ?
Thanks
Kyle

The pulsing is usually caused by warped brake rotors and the grinding is often caused by worn out brake pads. I would inspect them all.
