A/C Blowing a Mist
My 1999 Trailblazer is blowing a mist through the A/C Vents. Usually only happens in the mornings, but I have seen it once in the afternoon. The mist has a slight odor.
Took it into a garage, the mechanic replaced the evaporator core, and claimed to fix the problem. However, it is not fixed.
Help!!!
My wife thinks that she is being poisoned, and is getting to a point of refusing to drive the vehicle. (I have reassurred her that it is probably just water, but really she doesn't believe me)

Is thecondenser coil boxdrain plugged??Could be building up in condenser box and being pulled out through the blower
I had an Olds that did that on humid days until one 100 degree and VERY humid day I noticed 1/2 inch of water
on the passenger floor, figured it out real quick then,Cleaned it and never had the problem again

I would clear the HVAC box drain. It is at the firewall, directly above the frame on the passenger side where the plastic outer shell of the HVAC box meets the sheetmetal firewall. I removed the inner fender to clear mine out.
