Can anyone tell me how to go
about gettiing my iphone out of the a/c vent in the dash of 2000 blaZ .. i havetaken theentire dash out and still am unable to see anywhere to go in and retrieve it . i am under the impression that i will need o cut a access port ..lol.. to get it out . It is way down there , cant see the phone , only the illumination whe lit up . I plan on getting a plastic welder from harboufrieght to repair any plastic i havee o remove. ?? any suggestions . i need tohave itback together for work at 5:3o am on monday ..Lol.. its Sun at 5:45 pm .. heres a pic of where it is . :O

what about fishing it out of there. litterally does it have the rubber case. maybe some line and a hook might grab it. is that the defrost fent. you might have to remove the heatercore box. i guess you could possibly cut a access hole but you risk damaging the heatercore.
my s10 is offroad only and has no heat or ac, i recently punched a big hole through the heatercore area to run some wires and it was completely full of dirt from the defrost vents so thats where it goes.
but i would try one of those grabbers or a hook

man , i have tried everything . and no i took my otter box off the day before it fell in there .. Yes it is the def vent . and it is waaaayyy down in it . i have removed everything down to the core frame of dash and it is behind another vent .. grrr it has unlimited everything and i cant upgrade until 11/../12 ;( whaaa lol i havent given up yet . Icalled in today so... Im upside down in there again trying whatever i can .. thanx for the suggestions tho . do you have any idea if the vent system is removable ?/ or should i just get a new phone ?

Since you are this far into this....why not just remove the dash? It comes out actuall pretty easily. Remove the lower trim panels, the screws under the dash speaker covers and I think there are two large bolts, one at each end by the doors. The dash will rotate forward on pins and you will have to un-mate electrical connectors, then lift the dash out.
Have to lower the steering wheel down also.

OMG , you gotta be kidding me ...LoL i have been at it for3 days now upside down removing bracket after bracket . if your info is correct and i will be at it as soon as i post this I had to take a call of duty and a couple of Dos Equis break ..lol TY so much in advance ...

Lanny , You That was exactly the post i was needing . Thank you so much your info was spot on . You saved me unknown hours upside down trying to remove every bracket in my way . If i had only seen that post that morning , i would have been a quick R&R . Nevertheless ..Cudos to you !! and to the blazer forums for a wonderful site ..Ty TY TY !!! now putting her all back together .

Lol yes i am ..after i get it all back on ... i , up until that day ..have never put my phone on my dash , nut yeah gonna have to fix er
Wanna be K5 ... Those Blazers are Tanks .. i used to own a 71 K5 blazer Full top removal when i was 19,20 ,21 ... Oh the fun we had in "Billy" its nickname ..lol BillyBadA** had a in lift with 38' BF's it was unstoppable . but i live in texas and i wanted something with good a/c so i had to sell it very regretfull sale ..
