Default clicking sounds in passenger side dash

I have a '98 Blazer that has some clicking sounds coming from the passenger side dash. Sounds exactly like a blinker clicking, but much quicker and much more random. Not sure what it is, but sounds like I would have to take the dash apart to get at it. I was told it was a very common problem with the model. Anyone know how to fix it?

Common. "clicking+under+dash" should return discussions with solutions.

My clicks sound like a blinker, but my blinkers nor my hazard lights flash when it's making the noise. Would my issue still be a hazard switch repair?

Probably not the same problem, but it sounded similar.

im having the same exact problem if you open the glove box you can access the combo flasher you can actually feel the clicking through this tried replacing it but didnt fix the problem does your air bag light come on and off whenever it wantsfor different lenghts of time my temporary solution was to take out the sir fuse from the fuse box on the side of the dash no more random clicking but the air bag light stays on doesnt bother me since my air bag light was always coming off and on but such a relieve not to have the annoying clicking sound im going in a few hours to the junk yard to find a new impact sensor to see if that is a permanent fix but pull your fuse and see if it stops your clicking lkie mine

Default Clicking under passenger dash

I had this problem in my 99 blazer . The turn signal switch had worn and needed to be replaced. This eliminated my problem.hope this helps.

I replaced the multi switch in the steering column and that fixed the issue. I tried cleaning it first, but it didn't help.
