Crazy question

Default Crazy question

I have a 99 blazer and need to put fluid in for rear wiper washer where in the world is its tank?i can hear the pump run but can't find it thanks

It uses the same tank as the front wiper. The pump is mounted near the pump for the front, but slightly higher.

As swartlkk stated, The pump for the rear washer is mounted higher in the reservoir so that the rear will stop spraying as the level goes down but the front will still work until empty.

Check the fluid level, start with a full reservoir and then check at the pump for pressure. Then you can follow the tube to the right side firewall, think there is a connection there you can check for fluid while pumping. Not sure of the routing from there, probably down in the passenger side door sills.

A common problem is the hose coming apart at a coupling inside the liftgate, you will see a flow of fluid out of the inside of the lifgate after a bit of pumping if that is the problem.

I know it's completely full just filled it so I'll start checking with pump pressure thanks

on mine, i have to press the button for 4-5 sec before it gets to the rear and start spraying... maybe youre not holding the button long enough ?

Got home from work today,checked fluid level was low I filled it completely up hit the button and after few seconds saw it pouring out on right side rear near headliner,popped trim apart it had came unconnected but here's the kicker it is too short to go back together the one side has the rubber connector and other side still has the bib on it but about 1 inch too short gonna pop it off and go to autoparts store and get some new line. Thanks for the help

Ok I got the line back together but it stilled leaked plastic line is cracked I cut the crack out and replaced with a piece of vacuum line but is now leaking at the vacuum line any ideas?

Try rubber cement,elect tape or heat shrink

theres a little black one-way valve that is used so the water doesnt flow back to the front of the vehicle, take it out and blow into it. it might be clogged, mine was and i had the same problems
