Creaking Noise Under Track At Low Speeds
I dont know if anyone can help me out with this, at low speeds with the windows open, a creaking noise coming from either the front or rear tire area, maybe possibly a rear wheel bearing, I know i had multiple problems with them in my 2000 zr2, thanks

I've had the same problem just this morning, but I thought it mighht be because of the moisture from overnight on my brakes...
Have you figured it out yet?

I have that happening in my 02 Xtreme also, I am leaning toward the struts on the back hatch window.

Mine's actually from the front driver's side. I am thinking it might be something as simple as the brake pad. It stops when I speed up past 60 K (I don't know the equivalent in miles, I'm Canadian ). It also stops when I brake, so I think that's all it is.

Same here, really irritating. Nice thing about cold weather is that the windows are up-so I don't have to listen to it.

RE: Creaking Noise Under Track At Low Speeds
I noticed a creaking noise all summer when going slow with the window open, but especially over bumps. So I thought it was the leaf spring bushings, and lots of silicone spray later, it was still doing it. While in the shop for a tune-up, a mechanic thought it was the left rear shock, which I didn't believe. The shocks were new, and when I told the friend who installed them that, he laughed and said shocks don't make that noise. Then I took it into a different shop for an oil change and lube, a place that installs lots of shocks, and they also said it was the left rear shock. They said you generally aren't supposed to put lubricant on shocks when installing them, but they put a little chassis grease on that one, I guess on the rubber bushings, to see if that would help. It didn't at first, but then it seemed I was hearing the noise less and less. Of course, now the window is up, so I don't know whether it still does it. In any case, both mechanics said it wouldn't hurt anything to drive it that way, but that I could probably get the shock replaced under warranty. (It's been 2000 miles since the shocks, so I guess I'd have to replace them as a pair? Probably won't bother at this point.)
Well, since Blazers seem to have so many variations on weird noises, it's probably not the same creak as the rest of you are experiencing! But I thought I'd relate my story anyway.
