Greetings. I have a 98 LT and it has a rattle coming from under the dash right of center, and to the left of the front left dash speaker. When I am on a bumpy or gravel road I can place my hand on the dash and feel it. It drives me crazy. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions, also is it a pain to take the dash out to locate it and or replace the dash if necessary? Thks in advance

Well-In my experience I have found that deep dash rattles usually result from a heater core replacement job that the individual did and did NOT replace ALL of the multitude of the fasteners when putting it back together. They are all there for a reason! Unless you want to tear the whole dash out for one or two screws,I'd learn to live with it. I did the core job on my 1st 97 and had no rattles. My replacement 97 has a deep dash rattle under low throttle acceleration and I attribute this to the same thing, but as the heat still works.... Choose your poison! Good Luck!
