Hi all,

I'm looking at addressing an issue with my driver's side door lock. When locking with the fob, it was not always working.

I've found that a person can order a whole replacement lock with the actuator or just the actuator. But, of the actuator only kits, they say they are not for vehicles with the Passlock (security) system that my truck has.

Does anyone have any experience with replacing/repairing these the drivers's door lock with the Passlock feature?

Is the only option to get a replacement full lock mechanism or can I get just the actuator?

P.S. I learned that at the GM parts sites, it is useful to note that I have the AU0 option for proper parts selection; i.e. "AU0 LOCK CONTROL, REMOTE ENTRY(KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM) REMOTE ENTRY LK CONT."

P.P.S. The apparent part number for the whole lock mechanism is 15066142
