It depends on how eggshaped your bushing holes are. If they are eggs, it's just gonna let the new ones crack, too.
I was gonna wait a month or two, before I posted this(to see if it works), BUT, I put new bushings and pins in, a couple of weeks ago. I propped the door up, into perfect position, and filled the holes with JB Weld and the bushings. Let it set for a couple of hours, propped, then, holding it up with the window frame(window down obviously), closed the door, and didn't open it for at least a day.
So far, so good, it looks like it filled the eggs!

hey there jakester, i replaced the hinge pins and bushings about a month or so ago in my driver side door. i had a slight sag and door had a air leak from not closing properly. ever since i put the new pin and bushings in the door has no problems. the air leak is gone and the sag isn't there anymore. if you do change out these parts make sure to purchase a container of some good lithium grease because you will have to keep puting a good amount on the pins and pivet points or you will kill the replaced parts. i think that this will cure your problem and its a pretty easy fix to. only toke me a hour or so with a helping hand of a jack to hold up the door for me!
