Default Drivers window

Hello all! A few months back I had a stuttering rising of my drivers window,as I had a complete switch module on hand,I installed it(it was from a previously owned unit) All was well for only 3-4 months, same symptoms occuring now and no part in my stock. Do I at this point think motor or the failure of the replacement module I put in? I am leaning toward the switch module again, what say you?

I usually blame a stuttering window on the motor. Switches usually fail by not making contact or requiring several 'presses' before they contact, rarely have I seen them make contact then lose it then get it back while under load.

The drivers door motor always wears out first. To check it out without spending any money get 10 feet of lamp cord or speaker cable and take the door skins off both the drivers and passengers door and route the power from one to the other. One time I was really broke and I was able to swap the drivers door motor with the rear drivers door (4 door)(which had barely ever been used).

I had a window that did the same thing and ended up being the widow switch.
