Im considering putting electric fans on my 2001. I have a dual electric fan off of a Lincoln Continental. If this wont fit I'm not going to do it, haven't measured yet. Thinking about using on front of radiator as a pusher, once again, not sure if it will work. Mainly thinking about this to gain a couple mpg. Partially just because I can.

You still probably wont notice any mpg improvement, but if it is done right you will have better cooling, and wont have to listen to that loud a$$ clutch fan anymore. And I would probably set it up as a puller instead of in push configuration (that's just me though) that way you have room to put a trans cooler and whatever else you want in front of the rad.

Yeah I have intrepid Efans installed and the clutch fan removed and I got exactly 0 mpg gain. Like swells said tho I would set it up as a puller rather than pusher. 1. It will be a far easier install 2. You will leave space in front for other things and 3. If done properly it can look factory

Nope. The auto manufacturers do everything they can to improve mileage & performance. If electric fans made a difference, they'd use them. Granted, the clutch fan is noisy, but it's far more efficient and less expensive than electric. That's why the vast majority of RWD vehicles use them.
