Ya I see there's a ground ...5v wire ...and a signal wire. I just want to get the right schematics for wire color reference and I'll have to test these 3 wires. So the signal wire is variable you said ...which means I have to back probe that signal wire with the tps in place correct ? One probe on ground and one on the variable wire ?

Leave everything hooked up and see if the sense wire varies smoothly with key on engine off gas pedal travel roughly between 0-5v.

Ya that's a simple way of testing it providing the ground and 5v is good 👍

If you dont get the result that you expect then you move on to the power, gnd and integrity of the sense wire

when you sweep the throttle back-and-forth were the changes nice and smooth with no glitches in the voltage readings?

Ya no glitches and smooth but something crazy is going on. My abs light and parking brake come on now and it's happened twice. Really weird. It just started happening out of nowhere.

Now it runs like a bag when I first start it. Shakes and jerks the check engine light flashes. P0300 missfire code. The story just gets better by the day 😄
