Default extra backup lamps

If I wanted to hookup extra backup lamps the easy way, how many watts can I run off the backup lamp wire in my trailer wiring harness. I dont plan on using my hitch and my 7 wire harness is just a group of wires taped together.

Not sure how many watts you can have but I tapped into my headlight for fogs so they would come on with my daytimes and they would just flicker, they were only 55watts too. But I hard wired them and I believe that would be a better way to go then just, cutting and taping wires togther from a trailer harness.

You will cook the wires if you try to hook anything bigger than 3 watts to them. You have to put it on a relay to turn on with the back up lights. As with most wiring its about maxed out at what it can carry from the factory and you can't add much more.
