Default Fan for heater and air quit working

My fan for the heater and air just quit working. It worked about an hour ago when I went to town, but on the way home I tried it and it doesn't work. I checked all the fuses and they are all good. I am at a loss as to what to look for.

Default RE: Fan for heater and air quit working

Does it work on any of the fan speeds or are they all dead?

All fan speeds are dead. I have a 2001 2dr 4wd Blazer.

The three lower speeds work off a fuse and high works off a relay. Looks to me you may need a new motor.

Sounds like the fan motor has gone out . The fan motor is under the hood on the Cowl (PASS ) side . Pull the plug out and hook a hot wire up to it (motor) and a ground to the motor and see if it will work .

I think I found the problem. I was checking things out and bumped the wiring harness to the switches and it started working. It quit again and I did the same thing and it started working again. So I think I got it narrowed down to where the problem is.
Thanks to all that replied.

You moved the connections at the back of the control head in the truck? If so, you may have some cold solders on the circuit board. If you can, pop the control head apart and just reflow the solder on the pins that connect to the wiring harness.
