My Blazer has had a on going issue with lights flickering. It started as a subtle flicker in the dash barely noticeble at very low RPM. It was around the time I replaced the original Alternator with a remanufactured one. It has been 4 years since then and the problem has gotten worse the flicker can be very bad at times in cold startups during cold weather. The headlights are now dimming a tab bit too. Im not sure if the issue is the alternator, but im going to start with buying a new one just to elliminate the portion. I was never content with the remanufactured one I have in there in the first place. Any suggestions on a good replacement? I hear there are GM models that are higher output then the eom 100amp. Anyone know of compatablity on the 4.3L?

 

I have had good luck with AC Delco Gold and Remy alternators.
