Default Fluid rear tire

Hey Guys,

I just noticed some fluid coming from the rear tire (back of it from the rim). Its on the ground and all over the back of the tire. What could this be from?

you could have a brake fluid leak if it was bad enough. is it just on one side or is it on both

x2.

A leaking brake line, wheel cylinder/caliper leak, or a bad axle seal.

Just want to add. If it has a smell that you can smell all the way up by the front of the car, it's probably Gear oil from the Axle. Gear oil has a smell you can't miss.
Where brake fluid is much mellower. Hope it's Brake fluid, easier to fix.

Discs or Drums in the rear?
If you have drums, do you notice that tire locking up when you brake? Brake fluid on Brake shoes get very grabby.

I had the same problem a few years back and it was just a bad brake cable.
