Default Front axels ?

On a 2001 Blazer I purchased I noticed that it had a bad humming noise and I found the problem to be a bad wheel bearing. As I was going to put the tire on I noticed fresh axel grease spitting out on the control arm. I pulled the other wheel as well and that also had fresh axel grease on it. I have been having 4wd issues with the vehicle as well and just installed a new transmission. It seems like it started doin this when I put the vehicle in the air to test what wheel bearing was bad. Why would the axels suddenly starts spitting out grease? Thanks

If you clean up the grease you will probably find that the c/v boots are split. There are boot kits available to replace your torn ones. The kit also contains a new package of grease.
