^removal of cv shaft, u will see the seal then.
A chilton manual would be plenty sufficient for these jobs.
Tips:
Haven't done the pinion seals, only the axle shaft seals up front. But as for the right axle shaft seal, I took the whole shaft and carrier tube out of the differential because with the shaft still in the tube I couldn't pry out the seal. Careful when doing this because on the differential side of the shaft there are a bunch of washers and gears the will fall off TAKE PICS OF THEM BEFORE DIS-ASSEMBLY. The only issue I had was re installing the cv shaft (mine are the slip in variant) in order for the splines to match up I had to remove the shocks lower bolt and slide her(the shock) to the right to make room for the cv shaft.

usually when i do pinion seals when removing the yolk off the differencial make sure you mark it so you re install it exactly where it was when you put it back on. i usually take a cut off whell and actually grind a small notch into the threaded part then on the yolk, and to be extra paranoid take a few pictures of it too so you dont forget how far down it was. i hate using markers cause sometimes they can wipe off
