They should both have fill plugs but I'm not sure on the drain plugs

The front will have a fill and a drain. The rear is a real crap shoot. I have had 4 S10 ZR2's all of different years, only my 2000 has a rear drain plug. You will just have to look.

As stated above, the front diff has drain and fill plugs. The rear diff only has a fill plug, drain by removing cover.
The front diff is filled in two ways: get a hose that will wedge into the fill port or just use the vent hose already there, clamped to the radiator shroud.
The rear requires a hose to fill as well. Be sure to get a new gasket for the rear cover. If the rear cover is really rusty, easier to just get a new cover.

Did this job on my '02 last year. Not a bad job....bit messy, but not bad. Do the transfer case at the sametime. Note: transfer case uses a different lube than the diffs.
