Default fuel pressure gauge

i work at autozone, and on the performance isle there is an inline fuel pressure guage. i know that fords have steel braided fuel lines does the blazer have these as well or are they rubber, or rubber with a special lining and if i can put it in what is the reading supposed to be? i haven't really looked around at the fuel lines on my truck and i want to know what the reading currently is, etc.

Default RE: fuel pressure gauge

The flexible lines are nylon (or some derivative of nylon). They are more than adequate to handle the pressure.

On the SCFI motor (96+), there is a fuel pressure test port on the fuel supply line on top of the engine. It is located just behind the throttle body. There will be a small plastic cap that you need to remove, then attach the gauge. No inline connector needed.
