Default Fuel pressure problem maybe?

hi

i did a fuel pressure test and when you turn the key on, the pressure goes up to about 60-62 psi and somtimes drops a pound or too as you watch the gauge. then when you crank it the pressure goes down to about 46 psi while cranking, is that normal? and it doesn't start up. im having a hard time starting the truck when its cold out or if it sits without using it. i have to keep priming the key to start it. in hotter temps it starts a little easier. and once it starts at first it sounds a little rich like it loaded up on fuel to much then clears up. once you run it it till its warmed up it will re-start easly. pressure while running is 52.5 to 53 psi. i have put in a new fuel pressure regulator and a new EGR valve too. also should the fuel pump make a moaning sound or whining sound? i have an idea of what might be wrong but i want to hear your opinions to make sure,
thanks so much

that sounds a touch low while running. on your leak down test, how long to take to drop a pound or 2?? in ten minutes u should be holding at least 45, if less u have a leak. pump should make a high piched happy whine thats consistant. sounds to me like shes leaking down at the spider or the pump feed tube in the tank. even 1 leaky injector will cause this. and dumb ? is ignition and batt reasonably healthy?
