fuel pump electrical lines

RE: fuel pump electrical lines
Test post?? The schrader valve on the main fuel line (larger of the two) is the test port. If you want to make sure that the fuel pump is getting power, then you should jumper the relay. Look at the diagram that is on the relay and jumper the pins that correspond with the switched connection. This will apply +12V power directly to the fuel pump. Ofcourse, if the fuse is blown...

RE: fuel pump
Alright, I took my blazer to the shop last week and they said my fuel pump was bad. Now that it has been replaced, they are unable to get it started. They think it is something electrical. My first guess is the wire harness under the drivers side carpet. There is a hole in the wire covering (no exposed wires that I can see) but that side of the truck leaks water really bad when it rains. The whole drivers side will get flooded. Can someone offer some other possibilities? Thanks

RE: fuel pump
Here is something few will tell you do not get an airtex fuel pump its cheaper but the good ones last a year the bad ones maybe weeks if that. If its not the pump, its the spider.
