Ground Points for 2005 Blazer

Good evening.
I am having abs and brake light issues on my 2005 blazer. The warning lights started to appear on the dash without any noticeable brake problems. The lights disappeared after turning off the key and restarting. I am concerned for safety reasons. Due to the enormous rust on my truck and the relatively low millege (125000km), I was thinking of starting on making sure all the ground points are clean. That's from what I read here. Next will be the ECM. If anyone could help me locate all of the ground points that may affect the abs ect... I would appreciate it. How many there are, where they are located and tips to clean them up. Pictures would be gold. Thank you to all that reply.

That sounds most likely to be a bad solder joint on the board inside the ABS module - a common problem. They are pretty pricey new, so so may want to consider:
1. re-flowing the specific solder joints yourself (what I did). IIRC there are 4 or 6 specific places that fail. You need to use a super low watt soldering iron.
2. paying a service to do it for you
3. buying a used one

Thank you Les. That's awesome information. I don't know how I missed your reply. I will look into this repair. The problem has been coming and going. I think I read somewhere that shutting off the truck resets the computer fault?. The shocks are not the best and I feel every bump. I can see how the soldered points on the board can vibrate themselves to the point of loosen up. Great video.

+1 on this repair. I had the same issue with the brake and ABS light coming on intermittently over bumps with no other issues, I took the module out and resoldered the joints and haven't had any more problems since.
