Just dont ever pull the lines out of their holes. Chances are very good that you will damage them, my neighbor and i just simply pulled one out and put it back in with no force and damaged it.
Also if by some unlucky chance you do need to replace the entire assembly, the new retainer bracket is included with the Delphi spider on rockauto

97cherryblazer,are you talking about the fuel lines or the poppet nozzle lines. On the fuel lines that go into the top of the spider, I disconected behind the distributor first then up on the intake and lifted them straight up.I sure wish I had a stubby 16mm for behind the distributor. Thanks

Alright, got problems now.I replaced the pressure regulator and it is not leaking fuel from the back of it anymore.I checked the poppet nozzles for leaks and no leaks there.Put the plenum back on and put everything back together.Started the truck and now has a terrible miss.I had to disconnect the three plug wires on the right side of the distributor to get easier access to the fuel line connections so I thought that might have something to do with the miss.So I rechecked and made sure they were all put back correctly. Its showing a p0300 and a p0122.Any advice on were I should go from here? Thanks.

yea,I checked and rechecked the plug wires and the TPS seems to be pluged in correctly.I even pulled one plug wire off at a time to see if there was any change to isolate what wire was bad but it didnt seem to make a difference. Also, it seemed like the truck took a long time to shift into second gear when I took it for a test drive.Do you think the missfire could be fuel pressure related. Thanks
