I have a 2000 chevy blazer ls 4.3 code for egr stuck in closed position popped up I removed the egr cleaned it thoroughly with carb and choke cleaner made sure it moved freely put back on with new gasket. About a day later cel showed up again with some code and one for ho2s bank 3 sensor 1 no activity. I found the o2 sensor had a disconnected wire. Going to replace that. But what should I do about egr? I don't have the cash to replace it at this time. Any advice? Thanks!

 

Just clean it really good, make sure there's no carbon in it, and that the pintle in there moves freely. Then, put one of these on: Help/2 pcs. GM 1992-2003 and Ford 1980-1993 EGR Clean Screen Gasket (47007) | EGR Gasket Screen | AutoZone.com Otherwise, unless you want to remove your manifold and surgically clean it, you will continue to have egr problems.
