Our 96 blazer has the worst head lights ever - I just replaced the bulbs and they are still horrible at night. I'm wondering how you align them properly and also whether or not anyone on here has upgraded to a different type of head light - and if anyone has added accessory fog lights to their blazer.
Details would be great.
Thanks

You can go through the conversion to the '98+ headlamps. There have been a few threads on that subject floating around, but I believe you have to change out the entire radiator core support to do so. If you do not have a junkyard in your area with S-series trucks in it, it may be pretty difficult.
Hopefully the search function will be working again shortly. That should yeild you with the proper alignment proceedure as well as your options for better lighting.

If you've got the sealed beams, then you could always go for one of the conversion kits...

Then you can use H4 bulbs, and the light is MUCH better than the sealed beams... I did that on my '85 S10, and if I ever own another vehicle with sealed beams, it's definitely getting the H4 conversion...

What kind of bulbs did you put into it? I have silverstars in my 95 and they are pretty bright. I used the directions in my haynes manual to aim them. It wasn't too tough. My girlfriends blazer has silverstar ultras and they are very bright. We just picked them up at pepboys on sale (like $15 rebate) a couple weeks ago. Might still be going on. They are a big improvement over standard bulbs.

I used Koito Whitebeams to start... Nice wicked white light... I liked 'em better than my brothers Silverstars.
Then I went to Polarg Shining Wizards (6000k color temperature) which worked great in that housing! And they were awesome in the fog/snow/rain... Not quite as 'bright' but you could see about 30 feet farther than the white light...
