Default hellpp, coolant leak

Ok I have a 95 blazer and to make a long story short I'm having water leaking from the back of the motor but can't pinpoint it its not the water pump or anything like that when I looked underneath it looked as if it was running down from somewhere I couldn't see and coming off of the trans bellhousing any ideas ? I'm thinking its the intake manifold gasket but would like another persons view I also hear a whine from the front of the motor sorry ahead of time if this post is in the wrong area just really need help

Sounds like the head gasket to me. Or possibly a leaking line to your heater core. Does it seem to be leaking on the passenger side or the drivers side?

Its leaking from the drivers side my oil isn't milky looking. I really hope its not the head gasket

Very good possibility that it is the lower intake manifold gasket. They are notorious for failing on the Vortec V6,usually at the coolant ports.

Put a UV dye in the coolant, run it a little bit so it cycles through, and use a UV flashlight on the wet areas. It can help you determine how high up the leak comes from, and possibly find the are it's coming from.

Maybe he's lucky and it's just his A/C drain...he did say it was leaking water and not coolant...then again..when are we ever lucky around here.

That's on the passenger side if I'm not mistaken.

Agreed, it's probably the lousy factory gasket GM used. Replace it with the correct Fel-Pro version and change the motor oil ASAP.
