i have a 2001 chevy blazer lt with the push button 4x4. is it safe to drive my truck without the front driveshaft. i have the dreaded service 4x4 light on and i checked several things. i do believe its a tc motor, the reason i removed the driveshaft is cuz the truck is stuck in 4whi and will not disengage so its eating my gas up and i dont want to do damage to the equipment on the truck. the original owner said the sevice light came on 2 years ago and gotten use to it. any help will be appreciated as this is my first 4x4. thanks again
