Hi, I know this thread is a couple months old but i have only just noticed it.
I have never had my 5 digit code for my 99 Blazer. I have 2 working fobs so hopefully I will never need it but it is always at the back of my mind that one day the fobs might play up - then I might need it.
When I contacted Bauer Millett in Manchester (a GM USA dealer) they told me that they were the only people in the UK with the software to obtain my code. Only problem I have is that I am in the middle of Devon so it's a long 400 mile round trip just for what is likely to be a few minutes hooked up to a scanner.
Basically what I am asking is did you have to go to a main GM dealer or was another dealer able to assist? I find it hard to understand what is so different about European Blazer security systems than other GM products such as Opel?

You have to go to a main GM dealer cause the software to read out this part of the BCM is only provided by GM. You can find the specialized dealers on www.cadillaceurope.com / local licensee.

Thank you for the reply.
I have checked the Cadillac website & there is a licensee in Southampton. I have just emailed them & am awaiting a reply. It is still a bit of a distance but much closer than Manchester so I am hoping they will be able to help. It is a pity that the Blazers are not supported here any more - personally I think it's one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Had a few problems initially, ball joints, front wheel bearing + a/c stopped working but I sorted all the problems myself (I am a refrigeration engineer) & now it runs beautifully. Just hate the damn security system on it. Wish I could just take the immobiliser off & do away with it?
Thanks agin - hopefully the Cadillac dealer will be able to help me.

HI.

I have the same problem with my new key fob.
How to perform this security code entry with the fog light switch.
Example. code: 52897. press the switch five times. stop. and two times. stop. and eight times. stop. and so on.... ?
Or is there another way?
