Default help in Alabama

my friends, help is needed. I contuine to labor with my 1995 S10 Blazer. I am trying to change out the fuel lines under the plemum, and there is a star screw holding the bracket that holds the lines in place. well that screw is not wanting to come out, it sizes out to be a T27, but my bit wants to slide off of it and a T30 is too big, and there is not a size inbetwen. I need someone to tell me what to do, project going on for about a month now.

I would get a new T27 bit and push down hard as you turn the rachet or driver. This surves to keep the bit in the bolt head.

Also, once you get it out, replace it with a new one. The replacement bolt does not have to be torx.
