My truck's hinges are in pretty bad condition, even after a bushing kit the door still sags by between a quarter and a third of an inch. the passenger door is even worse as its bushings are missing entirely and the hinges are completely toast on both sides

What are my options for repair?

Several vendors offering the replacement hinges including the pins. Needs to remove the doors, drill out the factory welding spots.

Check your A-pillar around the area of the hinges for cracking, bending. If the pillar is junk... no repair before that has been fixed.
Bolt on replacement will probably need fabrication. Only with proper tools and equipment and know-how it will be a lasting repair. The hinges have some incredible loads on them. Door, lever arm, weight. If someone hangs on the door even worse. Several hundred foot pounds of torque. A nice example are the destroyed pins in the first article.

As one of the articles says: It is a precision work! Any little amount off at the hinge and the door is off by an inch where the lock is.
Check the locking side as well. I suspect hinges going bad after the lock has gone bad.

 

i was planning on taking it into a body shop to have the work done, i've inspected the A pillar side of things and its all solid but the B pillar side where the latch is got dented in and its cracked all around the latch, they should be able to cut out and bend a patchpanel, or i can just go to a boneyard and cut one out. the NEEDA hinges are out of stock but i know DORMAN makes them, are they any good or should i look into retrofitting?
