Default How do I remove my front pipe?

Hey guys and gals. I have a couple of rust holes in the front pipe on my 2000 blazer 4x4 4 door. I cut out the rusted piece and patched in a new one and welded about 3/4 of it. Does anyone know a good way to remove the front pipe completely so I can get a good weld around the whole thing? Do I need to remove the trans cross member? Thanks folks.

To get the front pipe down you need to remove the trans support. I had to use the torch on each and every one of the bolts to get them loose up top at the manifolds. IIRC those are 15mm.

Thanks. The manifold bolts are brand new and so are the manifolds. The bolts rusted and I thought that was my leak. Turns out it was a rust hole in my exhaust.
