How do I replace the drivers side mirror?
Greetings all,
I have a 97 Blazer and the drivers side mirror just broke off, on the backside their are three plastic points where it bolts to the door, all three plastic connections have busted off.
I've ordered a replacement but do not know how to access and attach the new mirror. Can anyone offer some advice?
thanks
Shane

You have to remove the inside door panel. There are a few screws and then the push clips. I would get a proper trim puller as they are cheap enough and make it easier. If you search in the A/V section, you should find a link to a how-to on replacing the front door speakers which runs through the removal of the door panel.
After you get the door panel off remove the power mirror harness/clip and there should be 2 or 3 rubber pieces covering the holes there are nuts behind them. I believe they are 10mm
