Default IAC cleaning

I've searched to no avail. Is there a do-it-yourself with pictures on cleaning this and the throttle body?

... Thats the CPI FPR replacement thread...

Anyway, no, there isn't a how-to specifically for this. I would recommend removing the throttle body to clean it. The most difficult part of this is the cruise control c-clip. Getting this thing out and back in without loosing it can be a chore. Once that is off, disconnect the throttle cable by holding the throttle open and pulling the cable around until it lines up with the slot on the throttle cam, then just slide the cable out the passenger side of the throttle cam. Disconnect the electrical connectors, then unbolt the throttle body. Reinstall in reverse.

Different engine. Doesn't list it here, but the OP has a '99 Bravada with the SCFI engine. There is quite a difference in throttle body arrangements between the CPI and SCFI motors.
