Question info please re:95 blazer rear wiper repair

Greetings to all,I HAVE A 95 BLAZER THAT I,AM RESTORING ,WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO ON REPAIR TO THE WIPER "REAR HATCH" WHEN I TURN IT ON,IT MAKES A NOISE,I ASSUME IT HAS SLIPPED OFF A CONNECTOR ROD OR MECHANCIAL COG,AT ANY RATE WOULD LIKE TO REPAIR AND ANY HELP APPRECIATED,THANKS JIM

Not likely. Sounds like the Large plastic gear may be stripped. Usually what happens with these Wiper assemblies is water works it's way down the Wiper Arm Shaft and rusts a metal gear assembly and then the motor wont turn at all...no noise.
If you are hearing teh motor run but no wiping, you may have other gremlins inside the assembly.

Send me your e-mail address and I will send you a Pic of what the assembly looks like when it's opened up. maybe that will help.
