I have a 2 door 2005 Gmc Jimmy, base model. (no power windows, etc)

I picked up a cruise control box from a 4 door 2002 Chevy Blazer at the junkyard. The box has 3 foot wire that was attached to (i assume) the throttle. the jimmy has all the same places to attach this box, except where the box was attached to the firewall. I have the same connector near my firewall that plugs into the box, did they wire them all up the same at the factory and just add cruise to specific packages?

Do I just need the Cruise control switch on my steering wheel and it will work? are the parts the same between blazer and jimmy?
