Default Intake gasket question?

I got the intake off lastnight, and I noticed the old gasket was broken in several spots. Almost like the plastic had been crushed when installed. Or could that just be from pressure? When I seen that I feared crushing the new one on reassembly.

If you use the nylon they do crush and break easily thats why you need to torque the bolts in the correct order at the correct torque. The steel aftermarket gasket is much more robust. The old one may have broken when you pulled the intake off also my old one is like an egg shell.
